St. Ronan’s College will nurture a love of learning by recognising and developing the talents of all,
in a community where everyone is encouraged and supported to be their best.
St Ronan’s College, opened in September 2015, as an all ability Grammar school, committed to providing all young people in the local community with an excellent educational experience. The College motto is “Pro Omnibus Excellentia” Excellence for All. The College aims to nurture and develop every pupil in its care, ensuring a lifelong passion for learning, through a supportive and caring pastoral system and a broad and challenging curriculum.
The College currently operates over two sites: KS3 which has 860 pupils and KS4 & 5 with 870 pupils. The total enrolment is 1740 pupils and the College has a staff complement of around 230. The College is the process of a new capital build project with an investment of over £30m, the new College building on the Cornakinnegar Road should be completed by 2024.
The ethos of St. Ronan’s College places pupils at the heart of the school and all aspects of College life – curriculum and pastoral provision, general environment and extra-curricular activities – are focused on providing a high-quality educational experience.
