Battle & Langton Primary School is a Church of England School for children aged 4+ to 11, and currently has approximately 420 children on roll, divided into two classes per year group.
The school is seeking expressions of interest form highly motivated and engaged catering contractors to manage all pupil, staff, visitor and event catering as well as the school breakfast club.
We are situated in beautiful surroundings and boast one of the best outdoor spaces in the area, with two adventure play spaces, outdoor ‘forest school’ classrooms and a fenced all-weather sports pitch.
We passionately believe in our school ethos of Love, Inspire, Achieve and have reached the point where we want to see the food, we serve the children at lunch to be an integral part of that vision. We wish to be able to inspire children to broaden their pallets and choose foods with different flavours and textures. We want to develop their sense of what ‘healthy eating’ looks like, to empower them to make good choices with food and to enjoy the many possibilities that a balanced diet can bring. We want to make the food served here as enticing as the playtimes!
